Education Agents

SCIC recognises that the decision to study overseas can be a challenging yet highly rewarding experience for international students. Education agents both in Australia and overseas help SCIC with the recruitment of international students to its ELICOS courses in Sydney. Both SCIC and its agent representatives have a responsibility to provide ethical and accurate advice and services to prospective international students.

Standard 4 of National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018 requires that ‘Registered providers take all reasonable measures to use education agents that have an appropriate knowledge and understanding of the Australian international education industry and do not use education agents who are dishonest or lack integrity’. SCIC only works with agents who have a proven track record in service delivery to international students and have demonstrated a commitment to meeting their obligations under the National Code 2018.

Section 21 A of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act) requires SCIC to list the names of education agents who represent it and promote its education services. You can find the list of agents representing SCIC at the link below:
